City sightseeing bus
The hop on hop off city sightseeing bus operates a city tour (red route) every day around all the main sights starting at the V&A Waterfront. An additional blue route operates with less frequency a mini peninsula tour and takes in some of the outlying areas of Cape Town. Tickets are bought on the bus so no booking is required (021 511 1784).

Cape Town Minibus Taxi
South Africa 's most used, and most economical, means of public transport, travelling with noise and speed to most areas of Cape Town and not really designed for tourists to use unless seeking a different experience.

Cape Town Rikkis
Rikkis are open vans that carry up to six passengers and may be hailed or called on 021 423 4888. They offer services in the City Bowl and down to Camp's Bay. Also useful between the V&A Waterfront and the city centre.
