There are not many camping sites within greater Cape Town. A few main sites are listed below:
Imhoff Park in Kommetjie fronts onto Long beach and Noordhoek beach. There are tented sites available as well as space for motorhomes and caravans.

Chapmans Peak Caravan Park has 46 caravan and camping sites. It is situated on about 2ha of land at the start of the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive. There is an ablution block, swimming pool and play area with a trampoline.
