Cinemas are situated throughout Cape Town and films screened are advertised in the local papers. Cinema complexes are at the Waterfront, Canal Wharf and Cavendish Square. The Cinema Noveau at the Waterfront and the Cavendish Nouveau at Cavendish Square show independent films.
