The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (V&A) is an old and active harbour which has been developed as a home to designer stores, national retailers, boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, fast-food outlets, two cinema complexes, hotels and craft markets.
The clock tower is where the ferries to
Robben Island depart from. Tours by sail, high speed boat, dining or whale watching are all possible. Enjoy buskers, entertainers and street festivals and music at the open air Amphitheatre.
The Two Oceans Aquarium and the
South African Maritime Museum are at the waterfront. The Victoria Wharf shopping mall has around 250 shops with designer brands, crafts, traditional art, antiques and jewellery.
